Refund, Cancellation & Support Policy
This Refund, Cancellation & Support Policy ("Policy") is published by NurseNet Asia (M) Sdn. Bhd. (SSM 202501028075 (1629487-D)), with its registered address at T3-13A-11, Icon City, Jalan SS8/2, Sunway City, 47300 Petaling Jaya, Selangor DE, Malaysia. Support and policy-related correspondence may be sent to info@nursenet.my.
This Policy is governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any dispute arising out of or relating to this Policy or refunds, cancellations, and support in connection with the NurseNet platform may be subject to the jurisdiction of the Courts of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. This document is version 1.0, effective 8 May 2026, published in English.
Introduction
This Refund, Cancellation & Support Policy ("Policy") governs refunds, vouchers, cancellations, support communications, operational interruptions, attendance-related disputes, and related commercial matters associated with the NurseNet platform and services operated by NurseNet Asia (M) Sdn. Bhd. By purchasing, registering for, or participating in any NurseNet service, users acknowledge and agree to this Policy.
General Refund Policy
1.1Strict No Refund Policy
All successful payments made to NurseNet are generally final and non-refundable.
1.2Acceptance of Commercial Terms
By completing a purchase, users acknowledge that they have reviewed course information, scheduling details, participation requirements, and applicable terms prior to payment.
1.3Administrative Costs
NurseNet incurs operational, administrative, processing, platform, scheduling, staffing, and infrastructure costs upon registration confirmation, including for digital events and online educational services.
Session Cancellation by NurseNet
2.1Operational Cancellation Rights
NurseNet reserves the right to cancel, postpone, reschedule, modify, merge, replace, or discontinue any Session, Course, speaker, or educational activity for operational, technical, commercial, compliance, staffing, safety, or unforeseen reasons.
2.2Voucher Compensation
Where NurseNet cancels an eligible Session, NurseNet may issue a replacement voucher redeemable for one (1) Course within the same category and equivalent CPD value, subject to availability and operational discretion.
2.3No Cash Refund Requirement
Unless otherwise required by applicable law or explicitly approved by NurseNet, cancellation compensation may be provided in the form of vouchers, credits, rescheduled access, or alternative arrangements rather than cash refunds.
2.4Replacement Speaker or Format
Changes involving replacement speakers, revised schedules, updated formats, modified delivery methods, or adjusted content structures shall not automatically qualify for refunds or compensation.
User Cancellation and Non-Attendance
3.1User-Initiated Withdrawal
Users who voluntarily withdraw, fail to attend, miss Sessions, arrive late, fail attendance requirements, or are unable to participate due to personal circumstances shall generally not be entitled to refunds.
3.2No-Show Policy
Failure to attend a registered Session, whether partially or fully, shall be treated as a completed booking unless otherwise approved by NurseNet.
3.3Scheduling Responsibility
Users are responsible for reviewing schedules, time zones, dates, access instructions, and participation requirements prior to registration.
Technical Issues and Platform Interruptions
4.1User-Side Technical Responsibility
Users are responsible for ensuring stable internet connectivity, compatible devices, audio functionality, browser support, and suitable technical environments during participation.
4.2User Technical Failures
Refunds, credits, or compensation shall generally not be provided for participation issues arising from user-side technical failures including internet disruptions, hardware problems, device limitations, or software incompatibilities.
4.3Platform-Side Technical Failures
Where substantial service disruption is directly caused by NurseNet-controlled systems or operational failures, NurseNet may determine an appropriate remedial action, including rescheduling, replacement access, or voucher issuance.
4.4Third-Party Platform Dependencies
Certain Sessions may rely on third-party communication or streaming platforms. NurseNet shall not be fully liable for outages, instability, or disruptions caused by external service providers.
Voucher and Credit Policy
5.1Voucher Variability
Different vouchers, credits, promotional codes, or compensatory benefits may carry different terms, redemption windows, category limitations, usage restrictions, eligibility rules, or operational conditions.
5.2Non-Transferability
Unless explicitly stated otherwise, vouchers and credits are non-transferable and intended solely for the original eligible recipient.
5.3Commercial Restrictions
Vouchers may not be resold, exchanged for cash, commercially traded, publicly redistributed, or otherwise misused.
5.4Revocation Rights
NurseNet reserves the right to suspend, revoke, reject, invalidate, or restrict vouchers suspected of fraud, abuse, unauthorized transfer, duplication, or misuse.
Attendance, Eligibility and Certification
6.1Attendance Threshold
Users must satisfy the minimum attendance requirement of eighty percent (80%) or higher to qualify for certification eligibility.
6.2Attendance Verification Systems
Attendance may be determined using digital records, automated systems, access logs, engagement indicators, timestamps, participation analytics, or operational verification methods.
6.3Failure to Meet Requirements
Users who fail to satisfy attendance or participation requirements may be denied certification eligibility without entitlement to refunds or compensation.
Certificate and CPD Processing
7.1Processing Timeline
Certificates are generally processed within twenty-four (24) to forty-eight (48) hours following successful attendance verification, although processing timelines are estimates only.
7.2Verification Systems
Certificates may include verification references, QR validation systems, hashes, unique identifiers, or anti-fraud protection measures.
7.3CPD Processing Dependency
CPD-related processing, issuance, recognition, or visibility may depend on external systems, regulatory frameworks, operational timelines, or third-party administrative processes.
7.4No Guarantee of Regulatory Recognition
NurseNet does not guarantee acceptance, recognition, or approval of CPD points by employers, regulators, licensing authorities, institutions, or external organizations.
Customer Support Policy

Official customer support communications are handled primarily through email correspondence.

NurseNet aims to respond to enquiries within twenty-four (24) to forty-eight (48) hours during operational business periods.

8.5Abusive Conduct
NurseNet reserves the right to restrict or discontinue support communications involving abusive, threatening, harassing, fraudulent, discriminatory, or inappropriate behaviour.
Chargebacks and Payment Disputes
9.1Unauthorized Chargebacks
Users are encouraged to contact NurseNet before initiating chargebacks or payment disputes with financial institutions or payment providers.
9.2Fraud Investigation Rights
NurseNet reserves the right to investigate suspicious payment disputes, fraudulent claims, unauthorized usage allegations, or abuse of refund systems.
9.3Access Restrictions
Accounts associated with unresolved disputes, suspected fraud, or abusive chargeback activity may be suspended or restricted pending investigation.
Limitation of Liability
10.1Educational Nature
All Courses, Sessions, and educational materials are provided for educational and professional development purposes only.
10.2No Professional Guarantee
NurseNet does not guarantee professional outcomes, workplace advancement, licensing success, regulatory approvals, employment opportunities, or competency mastery.
10.3Exclusion of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, NurseNet shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, reputational, educational, professional, financial, or operational losses arising from platform usage, participation, cancellations, delays, or technical interruptions.
Policy Amendments
11.1Right to Amend
NurseNet reserves the right to modify, revise, replace, update, suspend, or amend this Policy at any time without prior notice.
11.2Continued Usage
Continued use of the Platform following any amendment constitutes acknowledgment and acceptance of the updated Policy.
Governing Law and Jurisdiction
12.1Applicable Law
This Policy shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Malaysia.
12.2Jurisdiction
Any disputes arising out of or relating to this Policy shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
